Ownership Issues

The person who signs the Permit Form that we prepare has to be the owner of the grave (the person named in the grave purchase documents). Sometimes ownership has to be changed as a person who owned a grave can be buried in the grave that they owned, and obviously there has to be a new living owner appointed in order for any work at that grave to be authorised. Normally a solicitor or magistrate is required to be appointed to countersign any change of ownersip form and most will charge a very small nominal fee. We will advise on this.
